Change a Life 2017
Every year we work to raise money to support the Willard Children’s Charitable Foundation (WCCF). Willard Children’s Charitable Foundation was established in 2005 as an affiliate of the Community Foundation of the Ozarks. Its mission is to raise, manage and distribute funds to benefit children in the Willard community and school district. WCCF provides both direct assistance to children and families in need and supports programs that benefit children throughout the district.
The WC Caring Kids Student Action team has selected the WCCF to be our next mission. We are asking all students to bring a monetary donation to school the week of February 6-10th, to turn in to their teachers during Community Time. We will collect donations all week. All money will be exchanged one for one, for Dr. Medlin bucks for their classroom to use at an exciting auction that will take place February 13th during community time. Teachers will represent their class to purchase fun events for the students of their classroom.
Our goal, this year, is to raise $1200. This is equivalent to each student providing $4 a student.
Thanks in advance for helping us meet our goals, and assisting the WCCF continue to provide outstanding support the Willard Kids.

Bus Boot Camp
Today the Student Lighthouse Team reminded students how we use the 7 Habits on the bus. They created new mission states for each but to help remind students of the right thing to do.
Last Thursday night students got to show off to parents what they know in the area of math. Parents also got to see how students are working math problems and resources that they can use to help their student at home. Thank you to everyone who came out to help us celebrate all the wonderful things that are happening in the areas of math.
Community Service Projects
Willard Central shared their school pride and showed their thankful hearts for our school with our Day of Service this afternoon. All students, staff and parent volunteers helped trim trees, paint walls, pull weeds, clear rock, power-wash the playground equipment, pick up trash and wash windows, walls, floors, tables, chairs and desks! A special thank you also to Mr. Brown, Coach Brown and Mr. Hernandez for working on finishing the office walls. It was an amazing day and blessed way to leave for the Thanksgiving Break! Thank you to everyone who helped make this a great day of service!
